I sent this angry email to my friend's old freeper boss

He sent me and a few others this letter about it's the welfare people to blame for all the looting and rioting and so forth and how notice how on 9/11 no one did that cause well you know New Yorkers don't know anything about welfare ect.

Well here it is:

Marcus I sent this to that Scott guy. Sorry if he is close to you in anyway but the article he sent to me and you just put me over the edge.

What kinda bullshit are you trying to pass around here buddy? Okay I dunno who you are and what Marcus is gonna think of the way I'm gonna respond to you but quite frankly you threw my name on the list to get this bullshit email from some punkass hack who obviously never lived a day of his life in reality in a real city with real problems.

This punk takes it upon himself to write an article to take the focus off this administration's incompetence and instead wants to focus attention on to whom he refers to as the "welfare state"

Lemme ask YOU somethin. Just what the hell would YOU do if after 5 days of watching your first born starve and scorch to death in the heat, your wife or your grandmother reeling from the pain of not having clean water to drink or even food for that matter.

You wouldn't start busting the glass of a grocery store? you wouldn't start looting to feed your family?

Before you start the typical repug line I am not defending thugs who thrill kill who harm others who are people who supposedly took part in raping or murdering others for sick pleasure, however to just blanket the whole situation with a callous "oh it's the welfare state that is the cause of the problem that's who we should target" tells me clearly that if you believe the words of this punk who wrote this you are clearly ill informed or soulless.

You are aware of course that the food and and water didn't come for DAYS not minutes not hours DAYS public officials had been screaming for assistance long before the boy king arranged his photo ops in California you were aware of this were you not? The water that these people were treading up to their chests in was filled with human feces, piss, even poisonous snakes. Sounds like a situation where you would remain perfectly calm right?

And this piece of shit wants to tow the line even further and talk about New York City pulling together lemme tell you somethin as a New Yorker, as someone who saw the 'welfare state" firsthand growing up in the South Bronx, I say people like this so called scumbag journalist don't know anymore about the "welfare state" than they do about what they think happened on 9/11 and the events thereafter. And then to boot the asshole contrasts the tragedy of NYC to NO. Newsflash dumbfuck; the city of NYC still stands minus her once proud and my personal favorite childhood landmarks the twin towers. New Orleans DOES NOT STAND AT ALL IT IS COMPLETELY WIPED OUT AND SITTING IN A BATHTUB OF SHIT LADEN WATER.

One more thing NYC is a HUGE welfare friendly city. Take a trip down there sometime if you've got the sand to be around a variety of different people and cultures, ideas and attitudes. By this guy's logic the city of of over 9 million should've torn the place apart right after 9/11! that's what welfare people do right?

So you wanna sit back in your comfy chair and pass judgement on people you'll never meet people you'd never care about you go ahead if that's what it takes for you to feel like you've got a pair, but I'll tell you one thing, you take a guy just like you who think they know who the fuck they are and what they're made of, you find out a few seconds in the real world they piss themselves just like every other phony assed punk who thinks a hard life is living without cable tv and having to gets his own hands bloody when the time comes to step up and face the hardships of life.

The truth is a bitch to swallow but I got news for people like the author who wrote this article; What happened in New Orleans was dereliction of duty by the government of the United States of America at the highest levels starting with the office of the presidency. This president stood idly by while his own people drowned and died. While this man writes bullshit articles like these, people like the mayor of NO, people like Mary Lindrieu, Aaron Broussard they were in the shit while the highest levels of govt were looking for the best photo op they could find that would involve the use of some dark skinned people.

Check out the date. 'It took four long days'? Yea it took about that long for the FEDERAL GOVT to even ACT NOT the people of New Orleans NOT the local govt of New Orleans.

They had acted well before that.

Without a doubt this government this president let his people drown. While the repugs claim that Saddam gassed his people OUR leaders let OUR people, OUR countrymen YOUR countrymen drown and this heartless motherless fuck has the AUDACITY to devise an article damning these people of "the welfare state" after all they lost after all the unnecessary hell this administration allowed them to be put through.

I don't know you once again but all I can say to you if you are sending this to me and others as a means to perpetuate attention to a notion that the welfare people are the problem I say SHAME On you sir. SHAME ON YOU.
