Do you think that DEMANDING they step down will work?
all over america people are calling for resignations of top bush officials, fema people, and disaster preparedness people, even the president himself, but what good will all that demanding do?

demand in one hand, and shit in the other and see which one fills up fastest, my mom always said.

1. No idea until we try......and if the threat of impeachment looms...
You can bet on something happening....

2. I think that, outside of Bush's core 30%, the outrage will only grow. Or
perhapse I should say HOPE. How can it not? Have we lost so much moral fiber since the Triangle Factory fire and the Titanic disaster? Both incidents caused national outrage and launched a major reform movement.

Impeachment is out, for the moment. Resignation is a far more attainable goal.

3. If they cared at all about us it would.
But they only want us dead or enslaved.

4. Its about a tidal wave of political force and anger.....
Not about any polite hopes of them "serving" anyone.....Just the opposite.

5. Only if we storm the gates and remove them physically.
And I can't advocate that.

What reason could they possibly have for stepping down? Bush will be gone in a few years but until then those he appoints are safe. They know that there is nothing they are not going to lose their jobs. In the bush administration you get fired for competence , not incompetence. Why would they step down?

These people have no honor and no itegrity.

10. Why would they listen to us? They aren't running for office and
if they don't need our votes we're as good as dead when the next disaster hits.

11. A man that stole two elections step down and resign, I doubt it, but
might as well put the bastard to the test before the impeachment and war crime trials begin!
