4. Howard Jarvis. Precursor of Reaganomics.

Initiated the era of the underfunding of government that has led recently to a certain problem along the Gulf coast.

You're not slow. Maybe I was cryptic. Maybe you weren't there or paying much attention then. Anyway...better?

not all of can read minds or as smart as you are..

I didn't get to finish my degree because Reagan became Governor.. by the time i got enough saved and got back in school he became president. so i was never able to get a degree.

I am autistic, i have an IQ in the 160's, but i am functionally illiterate, i have good language skills, but have PPD. I do not understand social inflection, body language, innuendo..

its OK, i'll take the fault, am used to being shit on by now.

11. I meant no offense. Honest.
I thought you might have been too young or otherwise engaged. I wanted to know if the links were helpful.
I really don't see anything in what I wrote as a personal attack. I'm sorry that you did.

2. To give the devil his due...
Proposition 13 was a taxpayer revolt against an unconstitutional system of school finance which relied more heavily on taxes from homeowners than it did on taxes from other people in the community.

And as much as a pain in the ass these "low tax" groups can be, I think they're a healthy part of the political dialog -- at least they argue on the basis of hard numbers. Most of them, anyway.

5. Well, I went to CA public schools when they were a point of civic...
...pride and did a fairly good job. I think HJ started a horrible trend that has led to a general underfunding of government.
I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. His due for me is as the initiator of a lot of bad stuff that's come since on the domestic front.

9. The key though
is to not compromise the general welfare. Nobody likes paying more taxes than they need to, and nobody likes paying taxes when someone else gets a pass. So it is important to have advocates watching the balance of the tax system to make sure nobody is truly being unfairly taxed.

Yet if we underfund government, the general welfare suffers. When the general welfare suffers, inevitably babies die.

Everyone has to ask themselves a question. Would they rather pay 1% less in taxes next year, or save a babies life. It really is that simple.

3. New idea for BushCo!!!!
What if we just skipped impeachment, and declared to ALL OF AMERICA INCLUDING THE NAVY, YOU ARE NOT LEGALLY REQUIRED TO FOLLOW THIS MAN ANY LONGER

He's not a president anyway, no one is required to follow him. Everyone he bullies and buys can turn against him and say "Huh? You're a nobody"

Then when almost no one recognizes his presidential power, it all dissapears, and little McBush Boots stops being president.

 :wow:

Remember the emporer with no clothes? He has never had any, since he never was really elected.

So if all of it was turned around on him, he became a joke and everyone recognizes NO president at all or recognized seperate senators as their president, would that drive little Chimp?

Would he throw a tantrum after being ignored and go away for good?

8. No no not throw it out...
Read. I meant the act of ignoring the part of the constitution that says so and so elected and for his term and serving as acting president and so on.

Ignoring it completely, nationally because LEGALLY he was installed by Antoin Scalia.

If that happened, since apparently Antoin can ignore the constitution too, what might happen?

Would Bush and Scalia get mad and throw tantrums? Leave? Or what, I just raised the idea.

No need to act hostile.. :P
