"Huffman Aviation president Rudi Dekkers said he has no intention of relinquishing control of the company to a business partner who has filed suit seeking to oust him.
"I am the owner of Huffman, and I decide what is best for this business," Dekkers said Wednesday.
In a suit filed Aug. 15 in Sarasota County, Wallace J. Hilliard of Naples accused Dekkers of failing to pay him for 1,000 shares of Huffman Aviation stock and of failing to repay several loans -- including one for $1.7 million -- which he had made to Dekkers since 1999."
