I'm glad to hear Dems speak out about the inadequate response to the Katrina victims by the Bush Administration:

And Dean has come out denouncing Bush's photo-ops in the disaster area.

However, I've been asking for the following ACTION since the DSM came out:

We need an ABSOLUTE DEMOCRATIC SIT-OUT STARTING NOW!!!

No BILL, NO LAW, NOTHING gets done in CONGRESS/SENATE until Bush Admin IMPEACHMENT HEARINGS ARE TREATED SERIOUSLY.

Bush and his entire CABAL need to be impeached. Until this is the CURRENT AGENDA of the CONGRESS, ALL DEMs need to stand together and hold-up anything in congress.

America will support them... They see how despicable Bush is now.

I think you're right. Perhaps, in the din, Americans from all political persuasions are secretly hoping the Dems come out swinging.

One can hope.

I told them that the silence from Democratic leadership is deafening. I said Levin & Stabenow need to tell their colleagues on the Hill to call the aftermath of Katrina what it is: the result of Republican neo-conservative agendas.

I also told them that across the nation, millions of Democrats like myself are watching and waiting, and that those that dare remain silent will never earn another vote from this staunch, life-long Democrat.
