Will Junior get away with even this?
I worry that no matter how bad this has been and will continue to be, Junior will find some way to wiggle his way out of it. They've already started slamming Blanco and Nagin. They have already claimed that fixing the levies wouldn't have helped anyway. They are making a ton of photo ops and will be--including Condi "Imelda" Rice and Dick "where-have-I-been-the-whole-time" Cheney.

It will destroy this country if Junior gets away with even this.

3. Sad to say, I think he'll skate away carefree as always
There's plenty of people in this country who like him or just plain don't care.
Bush will never be chased out of DC

to news of our Representatives demanding an investigation into the White House response. Instead, it's all about Rehnquist. Why aren't our Democrats walking to the White House to demand answers?

9. no. consider what's coming:
1. mass graves for thousands of people. images of piles of sheet wrapped people including babies being laid on top of each other.

2. days and days of broadcasts of bodies being removed.

3. the inevitable crash of money markets when the full impact of the disaster is being absorbed into the system

4. people need a focus for their hatred and its them. no one else could have made this rescue so bad and the NO people and LA, MS and Alabama people are NOT going to take a fall. Too damned many witnesses and too much paperwork evidence of federal imcompetence.

5. he cannot as well as the rest undo the tape of him on vacation during this debacle.

6. retrospects of this playing over and over on the boob toob.

7. iraq will blow up in our face soon. seymour hersch says the gov't is in panic about a 'tet offense' being planned shortly in iraq where we could lose baghdad. this should speed them up.

He won't walk.

7. No! Bush and the Neocons will go down
Edited on Tue Sep-06-05 01:01 PM by jokerman93
Let them investigate all they want. Everyone knows what happened and why.

Bush and the Neocons will go down if the American people take them down. That means loudly and persistently demanding impeachment, and accepting nothing less than full representation by our elected reps.

We need to stay angry and not forget a damn thing that has happened when the MSM starts "changing history" on us.

10. the bushturd could fly to New Orleans
find one remaining living human infant, sodomize it, rip its beating heart out and eat it on national TV and get away with it.

1. the dittohead, freeper, religiously insane minions are so far gone that nothing can touch them.

2. 2000 was a coup. there is no entity with power over the bushturd. there are no checks. no balances. no free media.

12. Then you probably want to turn off your TV for awhile...
...'cause that's exactly what's going to happen. No independent investigation. Nobody (big) fired. Nobody impeached. Bush approval ratings actually go up.

We'll have to defend ourselves against charges of trying to make political points off of human suffering. Most people have already moved on to SCOTUS, or back to whatever they're watching on TV.

14. to a certain extent he will
he will not be impeached. He will continue as president until 2009. But I think this has hurt him politically a great deal and along with a increasingly unpopular war and high gas prices I think the GOP will have serious problems in 2006.

16. Did you catch Scotty's press conference?
They are not going to get a free ride on this one, the press were all asking very tough questions.
