2. TD 16 is starting very close to land so
it is doubtful she can pick up much steam before making landfall.

but I do know that a hurricane needs warm water to strengthen....



If it hit the Florida coast with thirty mph winds it will die before it gets very far inland...

7. The important thing is when it passes over the gulf stream
which is the warmest water...about 5-6 miles out that point near land

11. I thought so.
As someone whose family has beach property on the coast of NC and who has to help close up down there if one is coming, I keep a close eye on what is going on too.
