Jeb said that he gave $20.00 to the red cross at the FSU game
last night and he hoped everyone else did, too. Also said he was a Miami Hurricanes fan. How do you Canes feel about having such an honor bestowed upon you?

All my libertarian/republ;ican friends all say the same thing about federal government:

"They should stop forcing us to pay taxes to help out the poor, because most people are good hearted enough to volunteer money out of their own pockets should they feel the urge to help....but the government shouldn't FORCE us to pay taxes!"

Okay, now here's the rebuttal to that particular line of reasoning in a nutshell: The American super-rich are, for the most part, greedy elitist horaders who would rather work at Burger King 12 hours a day than have to pay a goddamn penny to those who really need it. Jeb Bush, thank you for unwittingly debunking a central tenet of conservatism.
