Republican "Family Values" on display today
It finally dawned on me that "Family Values" is actually a very selfish catch phrase that these people have glommed on.
What it means is...everything for my family and nothing for yours.
It was a mild morning today.
I decided to take my granddaughter to the park.
This is a great park--they have it seperated into two sections. One is a toddler park--with everything small for the small kids, then a regular size park for the big kids.
I pulled up and there was only one other vehicle. A suburban with a big fat ugly "W" sticker on it.
A WASPY looking woman with her 3 "perfect" children were the only other inhabitants. Her kids were about 10-11-12'ish--big boys.
I supposed she must be homeschooling because it was during school hours.
Anyway--these 3 ill mannered boys were climbing and jumping all over the toddler playground. One of them knocked down my granddaughter, but didn't hurt her. She is 2.
They were too big to be playing in the toddler park--but their mother just sat and watched them. She didn't apologize when they knocked over Kelleigh and she didn't tell them to go play where they belonged.
I picked up my baby and just said in a loud voice that we had to leave because the big kids wanted to play in the little kids park.
She never batted an eye.
I just wanted to smack her smug face. Gawd I hate the entitlement some of these people have.
There is NO way I would have allowed my kids to continue playing somewhere if a baby showed up and wanted to play there.
That just isn't right.:(
