2. 40-50% of the people loaded on the bus had no shoes. Most people
left without a lot of clothes - if any. The water was rising. This stuff is useless once it's wet. Lots of shoes got wet and useless.

Wal Mart is insured. While you worry about the looting done by the poor you are missing the looting done by the rich of the treasury from this disaster.

5. What's missing here is the gap between...
...what's being said by the police and what's being done: the police claiming they were there to stop looters as they filled a shopping cart full of clothes.
