Just Called My congressmans office
He is a first term Republican--Told his office he can either be a decent moderate Republican and do the right thing, or he can walk of the cliff with the Bush crowd.

3. The guy at the local office
Was real nice about it and wanted to know if he should introduce articles of impeachment---I pointed out that since he has only been a congressman for 8 months that might be a little presumptuous of him--sounds like there were a lot of calls like that ---But that he had a choice of which end of the Republican party he wanted to be associated with, the ones that were likely to stay in Washington, or the ones that were going to jail.

He was a little more receptive when I told him I went to college with the Congressman 20 years ago. --took my name and address, and was actually very interested in what I had to say. Now I am undoubtedly on his "list" somewhere, but that's the price.

I am still getting Republican mail for voting for McCain in 2000 in the Repug primary---one of those "anyone but Bush" votes.

I encourage EVERYONE to do the same --call your local office and just register a voice of complaint. It really shouldn't matter if you are calling a Dem or a Republican, just call and tell them that you are NOT pleased, and want them to "do the right thing," or follow Bush over the cliff.
