DU ALERT! Don't miss Aaron Broussard on Matthews if it repeats....
I haven't watched Tweety Matthews in over a year...hate the guy...but any of you who can catch a repeat of Matthews interview with him later tonight PLEASE DO!

He's the Mayor of Jefferson Parrish who was on with Russert on Sunday and in tears about his rescue worker whose mother drowned in the nursing home because folks were supposed to come for her and never did.

He's also been trashing Bush and defending Blanco and YOU'VE GOT TO HEAR HIM WITH TWEETY! See how Tweety is RUDE to him and see how Broussard walks all over him.

Don't Miss it...It's very revealing about what Matthews is really about when he's confronted with an amazing, honorable, heroic, down to earth guy like Aaron Broussard.

Broussard is the kind of person we Progressive Democrats need...he knows how to talk plain talk to the media sychophants who have their vacation homes on Nantucket (Tweety & Russert) and he's REAL PERSON!

Don't miss it, Please...It's about maybe 15 minutes into Matthews show.

5. I'm hoping that our DU Transcript finders can get one for Matthews...
because what he's doing in Jefferson Parish for the schools and organizing the medical facilities to find the people in his community who need help but are still in shock is amazing.

This will be a transcript that all of us here need to hear. That there are true heros out there that aren't people one would expect but seem to surface in times of horrific tragedy like now.

It's just incredible...

here, but I'm sure it will be repeated because it was his own "Special Edition." :shrug:

13. I saw Mr. Broussard on with Stone Phillips(I think it was) last night. Th
program said he was a quiet man,trained to be an attorney, but that this trafedy has changed him into being more vocal.

I saw the video of him speaking about his bosses(I think)mother. It was so intense,passionate and powerful that it even had my husband tearing up.

Thanks for the info,I am on C.T. and will try to not be physically ill while watching Matthews.

14. Thanks so much for this report...many DU'ers, including myself, don't
watch alot of Main Stream Media and probably missed Stone Phillips interview with him.

I'm trying to say that this guy is like a Cindy Sheehan. He speaks from his HEART and yet is so REAL he can overcome and slay the "Media Whores of the Mainstream Media" because his sincerity is REAL and not faked like the Matthews and Russerts out there.
