So which is it? Gas prices or the hurricane that are getting through

to those who supported Bush?

While the hurricane reaction was more appalling, I suspect the gas prices are more universal.

Anybody with anecdotal experiences? Which is getting the goat of those who are now moaning about Bush when you never thought they would?

2. Spent my weekend with some Repubs

First they were ticked off about the price of gas. When they heard about bush not taking aid from other countries, most were furious with him. How sad is that? It was all about money.

They expressed real concern about heating costs this year too, again they blamed bush.

The only Repubs in the group that didn't turn on bush are also proud to be bigots.
