Some kinds of images are not getting through. Do you see any pictures over there of the big mortuary trucks that are coming into St. Gabriel (the town where all the casuaties are being taken)?

I found this one especially disturbing.. there is a person trapped INSIDE this van.

10. Man's inhumanity to man. The hurricane was Mother Nature of course...
but much of what you see is man's inhumanity to man.

Show these pictures to the guy in the office who has everything but a swastika on the chest of his brown shirt. Tell him much of this could have prevented if Bush had not been playing around.

5. Caption help please.
What a strange photo, in the middle of a city.

Thank you for the photos, and thanks in advance for any help on the caption. (my son is at school, or I'd ask him)

A man is attempting to disperse horses and donkeys, which were used to transport tourists throughout the city. Animals were not given any consideration during the evacuation.

11. Thank you.
There is a song, 'Bless the Beasts and the Children', that came to mind this morning while viewing some of these pictures. Always thought it was sappy. Now it's haunting me.

Bless the beasts and the children
For in this world they have no voice
They have no choice

Bless the beasts and the children
For the world can never be
The world they see

(*) light their way
When the darkness surrounds them
Give them love
Let it shine all around them

(**) bless the beasts and the children
Give them shelter from a storm

Keep them safe
Keep them warm

--

sad, angry tears. too many days start and end that way.

7. I do not think we would have these if the Fed. have come fast.
It is a shame to see these are shown world wide. It will sure make terrorist happy to know we can not do really any thing when things get in a bad way. Terrorists has gone sky high since 911 and I bet this will help them.

The body of Alcede Jackson rests under a blanket outside his New Orleans home. An epitaph appears in the sign above.

New Orleans policeman Sgt. Kevin Coakley holds a chihuahua he rescued from a flooded house in the city's Garden District. Coakley said he planned to give the abandoned dog to his 83-year-old mother.
