Can we start calling Fox News the Ministry of Truth(MOT) plus...

I feel a mixture of amazement and annoyance when people post something about the news Network formally known as Fox News.

These posts state the obvious with a sense of discovery.
In the context of shock that they don't follow there advertised mantra of "Fair and Balanced"


I wish Jon Stewart would have gone further and said each country needs their own Ministry of Truth, not al-Jazeera like he said. George Orwell 1984 reference for those of you throwing up their shoulders about MOT.

Pravda was closer to the "truth" than Fox will ever be!!!

Should we stop posting about that? Do you realize that FOX is the network that millions of Americans get their "news" and opinions. FOX is not irrelevant and should not be dismissed. Quite the contrary. This "discovery" should be made continuously.

Such sentiment expressed here is preaching to the choir. I don't know how long you have been here at DU, but such sentiments are written in stone regarding the MOT. I was trying to say NO sh*t Sherlock in a nice way.

Bad comparison we will always document the countless lies of Bush so we can spread that to the masses. But in the case of the MOT people either love it (RW) or hate it (everyone else) because of it’s obvious bias, hell Rwingers now publicly admit the MOT is right leaning.
