21. A picture is worth a thousand words.....
But not all 1,000 words are necessarily an accurate depiction. You don't know by this picture that people are being forced out of their homes at gunpoint. You have no idea what is on the other side of that door. If that were my home and a looter was inside, I would hope that is the picture I would see.

Please don't assume that all officials are heartless, gutless, insensitive, mongers.

Go to the . I clicked on my old apartment - St. Charles Ave between 6th and Conery (around the corner from Commander's Palace; right on the St. Charles Trolley Line as in the short story I was always writing when I lived in New Orleans "A Street Car Named Charlie").

Back to the main point - never flooded, just the "normal" rain water on St. Charles Avenue.

So, if some Louisiana Guardsman comes and says "Come with me - and leave your cat behind---
