Read email sent to www.bushville.org - Over 3,200 site visits on Day 2
www.bushville.org has set up a page for responding to email. Here;s that page as of Friday morning.

---
Mailbag:

People have been emailing very specific questions to us about parking and permits and Clint Black.

Assume we don’t know the answers.

No, we don’t have a Civil Disobedience Permit.

No we won’t set up a forum. We’re not interested in arguments pro-con Bushville. We have a vision and we are committed. If Bushville doesn’t happen it is because we tried too early. The traffic we’re getting here indicates it will happen.

We aren’t any organization. A couple people with a website and a vision. We discussed Bushville, DC with some Katrina survivors and they were enthusiastic, very enthusiastic, telling us to go ahead and keep them in the loop. That’s what we mean when we say “we”.

We’re just planting a seed. You’re smart people. All you need to know is Bushville, DC on The Mall. 9/11/05. Let’s start 10ish, but arrive anytime. Let’s show FEMA how to spring into action. You don’t need your hand held.

Sounds like the Pentagon will be providing some country music for us.

Someone suggested a t-shirt maker could make a lot of money selling “I Built Bushville, DC” t-shirts and donate the proceeds to Katrina relief. Someone out there do it.

No we don’t want money.

Could the person from Moveon email again. Your email address keeps bouncing. Of course we are interested. We are very tired and we have no idea what we’re doing. We need adults to take over. We need a nap.

Yes the comment about the White House providing restrooms was an attempt at humor. We are planning to dig latrine trenches in the Rose Garden.

Okay, there is some real anger out there but that’s not what Bushville, DC is about. We ask people not to commit vandalism. We mean it when we say Busheville, DC is about NONVIOLENCE. Bushville, DC will reintroduce the world to the power of nonviolent resistance.

Yes we are lousy web designers. Thank you.

SCAM RUMOR – Please. We don’t want any money. Yes we are registered in Washington State because that’s were our internet company lives. We used ID security because we didn’t want Karl Rove to hunt us down and strangle our kittens. If you think this is a scam don’t read it.

Yes, this is pure rabble-rousing.

We don’t have a building permit either.

Yes we know that the Freedom March is marching to The Mall right when Bushville is breaking ground. How is that a problem? Those people just went on a FREEDOM March and will be delighted to see us exercise our freedom.

No, we don’t have Joan Baez’s phone number. Do you?

Suggested - get Ann Coulter to sing This Land is My Land for us. That’s a real good idea. We’ll have our people call her people.

No, The Mall is not a shopping mall. We’ll provide maps and stuff later in the day if we get to it.

Too humorous. Point taken. We moved email here because some of them are inherently funny.

No more email until whenever. We’re putting in 30 hour days.

-- Idea from an emailer:

Bushville, DC PR Blitz Contest.

Award given to the one who does the most outrageously effective PR stunt.

Get us on Drudge.

Hold up a sign with www.bushville.org on it behind some news-puppet’s head on live TV. Hire a smoke-writer to write it over New Orleans.

No vandalism.

Awards given whenever we feel like it.

Email pictures or descriptions of your PR activism to: info@bushville.org .

Or bring you pictures and your stories to the mall and share them with us.

Get the word out, people! GO!
