2. Does this mean Brown is out as the head of FEMA....
...or just that he won't be in charge of the Katrina efforts?

WASHINGTON

Federal Emergency Management Agency Director Michael Brown is being removed from his role managing Hurricane Katrina relief efforts, The Associated Press has learned.

Brown is being sent back to Washington from Baton Rouge, where he was the primary official overseeing the federal government's response to the disaster, according to two federal officials who declined to be identified before the announcement.

8. And if Hurricane Ophelia slams the East Coast?
Will the East Coast then be stuck with Brownie? This is absurd. FIRE HIM! Now they're acting as if Katrina is the end all be all for natural disasters in this country! Freaking insane.

9. Vice Admiral Allen of the COAST GUARD -- only Fed Agency that did its job
On those very first days, Monday, Tuesday, most of the helicopters in the air, taking folks off the roof, were Coast Guard.
