I am SO paranoid
Edited on Fri Sep-09-05 02:20 PM by Blue in a Red State
In between fitful dreams last night, I had a bleary thought that perhaps the many fires in NO were for body disposal... :scared: I am so tripped out lately. Tell me I'm just fucked up...

6. No links that I know of, just that in many news reports victims are saying
they don't have flodd insurance (this was in MS, not NOLA). I mentioned that here and someone else drew the conclusion that maybe that explained some of the fires in NOLA. OF course gas leaks could explain a bit as well.

3. You/we are fucked... not fucked up
Natural human response to lies and torture. This is, after all, mental cruelty. We should all sue W's ass... Cheney's, Chertoff's, Brown's, Rove's... the entire "Liar's Club"! This is mental torture!

And it didn't have to be this way. They didn't have to do this to us.

8. as they say
Paranoia strikes deep. Into your life it will creep.
It starts when you're always afraid...

From the CSNY song For What It’s Worth that starts with:

There's something happening here, what it is ain't exactly clear.
There's a man with a gun over there, telling me I've got to beware.
I think it's time we stop, children, what's that sound, everybody look, what's going down.

These are odd and hard times and that was true before this crisis. Then we go into this seeing it all go so strangely wrong and have reason to suspect this administration will cross any bounds of decency.

Your suspicion is not likely, but not impossible. Gas lines are open, fires happen. Many insurers cover fire, not floods, arson happens.

But paranoia is a healthy reaction in these unhealthy times.

Still...to the degree we can we have to center ourselves, find a still place and then act from there. The surface, the outer is chaotic...and we can deal with it well without taking the time to still ourselves from time to time.

9. fire = great way to KILL disease
NO and the other areas affected are all contaminated; thus so are the people that were there and the animals.

Death count? It will me HUGE!

This is why they are keeping the press out I believe. Where is the CDC? Why has not one person addressed the possible outbreak of a nationwide pandemic - aren't people being "relocated"?
