4. She said his remarks were disgusting... when he said racism played a part.
http://www.nbcsandiego.com/news/4952111/detail.html

She thought Kenye was disgusting also.

Good for him, there is more of the statement in the article. Someone needed
to say, and he had the guts to say it at a convention of African American
Baptists in Miami.
http://msnbc.msn.com/id/9247380/

MIAMI - Race was a factor in the death toll from Hurricane Katrina, Howard
Dean told members of the National Baptist Convention of America on Wednesday
at the group’s annual meeting.

Dean, chairman of the Democratic Party, made the comments to the Baptists’
Political and Social Justice Commission. The National Baptist Convention,
with an estimated 3.5 million members, is one of the largest black religious
groups in the country.

“We must ... come to terms with the ugly truth that skin color, age and
economics played a deadly role in who survived and who did not,” Dean said.

Dean said Americans have a moral responsibility to not ignore the
devastating damage caused by Hurricane Katrina when it struck the Gulf
Coast.

The former presidential candidate said the government will be judged by how
it treats the old, the young and the poor."

59. It would not surprise me.
When my first friend came back from NH, he told me stories that seemed outlandish and shocking. They were later confirmed when my other friends got back from Wisconson...

One example was when the police came to the Dean HQ in the town he was in in Iowa, because people were complaining that Dean Supports were calling them at 2 am in the morning. It turned out to be another candidates volunteers cranking folks claiming they worked for Dean, in the hopes of discouraging Iowans voting for Dean. thats one small example of what when on.

then one has to remember how many are bought and paid for, and are just opposames of the Republicans. This is one of my greatest frustrations as so few are out for the greater good of the people, and only out for themselves.

I'm sure it takes some experience to learn how to handle the talking heads, and the good Doctor has learned quickly! He's always told it like it is, but he's getting much better at handling these media types!

I worked very hard for Dean during the primaries too, and was VERY disappointed that the Dem machine shot him down! NOW, I don't think we could possibly have chosen a better Chair of the DNC. Dean is a GOOD MAN, and not afraid of anybody! I am very happy he's our mouthpiece!

And they will see who can be the first to say "Howard Dean doesn't speak for me" or "Howard Dean needs to keep his mouth shut" or "I won't be asking Howard Dean to campaign with me"

Next they will get ugly emails from a lot of us, then they will say that is not really what they meant.

And Carville and Begala will say Howard Dean needs to step down.

72. I just donated to DNC c/o DEAN via phone. It took 8 minutes...
had a wonderful converation with the operator too.

I say we give Dean some of those "unsolicited donations" for kicking some ass for us.

76. Oh yeah, skip the automated system and talk to the DNC operator.
That's a good thought.

87. I like Dean
I'm watching the video replay.

Blitzer is doing his job (bushista shill). Dean is REALLY holding his own and staying ON POINT.

I love it...

88. I love his last statement
