What if on 09/11/01, the terrorists had "missed" their targets

and instead of crashing into the Twin Towers in NYC and the Pentagon in DC they had crashed them into poor neighborhoods in those two cities. Would Shrub still be screaming 9/11, 9/11, 9/11, 9/11 every chance he gets, or would it be just another interesting day in history? That's a very cynical thought on my part, but seeing the way this entire NOLA episode has gone down, I'm beginning to wonder.

AND he would have not rushed to help anyone...

If the press treated this with the reverence they did for 9/11, he would be parading around about his success for this one.

They would still have to use it to enable their crusades overseas. Now, they wouldn't have given a damn about the people killed, but they have envoked the day all the same.
