Banishing the Press from NOLA = depriving victims from having their story

told. It is the most brutal, uncaring act. In the wake of a incomprehesible calamity, telling your story or having it told is often the only way to regain a sense of yourself. This doesn't even include the indignity to the dead victims that atttempts at censorship are an affront to. The folks in charge are so far off track, it is revolting.

2. It will backfire.

When the truth isn't set free, her stepsister rumor will travel freely and won't be squelched. Rumor won't go away, and truth won't ultimately be squelched. Truth will come out.
