It makes me physically ill to think of what they did and how they endangered not just Valerie Plame's life but that of other undercover agents as well, and they've ruined her undercover career. Had three former CIA types calling for someone's head, and a woman currently active in deep disguise calling even louder for someone's head.

They all said that what was done was completely unthinkable. No one had ever thought anyone could do such a thing. And, the ramifications were horrific. They said it would destroy any efforts we now have of getting anyone to trust us, and cause a mass desertion of our current moles.

It has destroyed US intelligence efforts.
