2. Only 57%?
It ought to 100% with the incompetent idiots we've got in Washington who claim to be "our leaders."

6. That is the overall message that the disaster in NO has sent, imo
The immediate horrors of what happened and DIDN'T HAPPEN in NO has entered the psyche of most Americans and it is only a matter of time before those who haven't realized it already begin to see the greater danger in that Homeland Security and FEMA are nothing but empty facades and the bush administration has not made them safer as promised, far from it.

8. I heard that after the election
from an otherwise responsible appearing young lady in the Austin library. From the way this person had been talking, I would have guessed that she had not voted for the little turd, but she said that she voted for him because he made her feel safer. :puke:

9. Only 8% voted for him...
49% of us voted for the other guy, remember?

We have a Rethuglican Governator here in Indiana, and what's worse, he's a guy Il Douche used to give noogies to ("Mah BEE-Yoch MEE-yoch!")

So...I live in a state with a Shrub CRONY for a Governor, my county has the highest rate of poverty and unemployment of any county north of I-70, The electrical grid was patched back together after the Ice Storm of '91, and they repair it when it falls apart (we were without power on 2 occassions this summer for no reason. once for 2 hours, and once for 5 hours)And I think our county EMA spent their "9-11 Bucks" on hazmat suits or Antrax test kits or whatever....

Oh, did I mention the New Madrid Fault?

You betchur Sweet Bippy I'm worried....
