What are the best Progressive Magazines to order subscriptions for?
Our middle school is having a fundraiser and they are selling magazine subscriptions. I am going to order a few. Thanks everyone.

3. I just did the same...
middle school fundraiser, too. Try UTNE READER, MOTHER JONES, THE PROGRESSIVE, IN THESE TIMES, E! ENVIRONMENT MAGAZINE, THE NATION.

The fundraiser magazine catalog had these included, so perhaps the schools are using the same catalogs.

Great idea to do this, support schools AND progressive mags at the same time!
;)

7. Definitely the Nation
Also Check out Left Business Observer which has been publishing lib-left economic analysis for years and is an interesting alternative to the addled Larry Kudlow-Jon Tierney-John Stoessel mush.

you could try Texas Observer http://www.texasobserver.org/ - lots of good articles.

edit:

Just saw your list of choices. I'd say Harpers and New Yorker.

20. The Nation, Harper's and MoJo
The Nation is the best for seeing liberal ideas on what's going on.

Harper's is probably the best magazine in the country. That it's liberal is an integral part of this.
