"Freedom March" FAKE MOVEMENTS DON'T COUNT!
If you're watching the FAKE Freedom March on c-span 1, look closely and you will see signs that say, Energy, labor, etc.. I'm just guessing but I think the Pentagon had to get the people for their FAKE march from the Federal Goverment Agencies. Look at all the people of "color". See, George Bush DOES care about black people and they care about him too. (coff) Let's get something straight. CONSERVATIVES HATE FREEDOM! Police states are UNFREE! In fact police states are PRISON COUNTRIES were citizens have NO RIGHTS! If conservatives love freedom why are they turning America into a police state? Also, notice how they are trying to COPY the REAL movements of the sixties and change them into a mirror opposite of what they stood for. This is soooo cynical and sooooo Madison Avenue. A Corporate verison of the counter-counter culture. And it looks stupid too. It looks like the TEE VEE commerial that it is. I suppose this was Karen Hughes's idea. Or maybe they re-hired Charlottee Beers. The least they can do is come up with their OWN STYLE! Notice the "black" civil rights music playing in the background. (coff) They're going to have to realize that FAKE MOVEMENTS can't compete with the REAL THING! Which is alive and growing as we speak. Good luck PHONEY's. We'll be waiting for your quarterly earnings report to see if your ADVERTISING campaign is working.
HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!

5. While hundreds of thousands are homeless, while thousands of bodies
lay scattered in the streets of New Orleans, while thousands of children and families remain torn apart, while toxic waste and disease infests a once thriving city, while an entire American city remains in shambles, we have a parade (within two weeks of the destruction) to honor the country and its leader????

The unending callousness of this administration will never again surprise me. A parade is inappropriate less than two weeks after hundreds of thousands of American citizens were devastated. The group organizing this should have canceled and sent the money to the Hurricane Katrina refugees.

6. Signs?
They must have given them out at the march. The official rules say that banners and signs are not allowed.

Fake movement, fake signs.

13. "you must register online by Friday"
Here's part of the last email to federal employees:

"This is a reminder that you must register online by Friday September 9th at 10 a.m. if you plan to participate in this coming Sunday's America Supports You Freedom Walk."

Notice the wording 'you must register' comes first before the 'if you plan to participate'. This is a common psychological tactic.

I imagine the pressure on the employees of defence contractors was greater, perhaps much greater.

12. It should not have been held on Sept 11th
Not at all. I thought this administration was the one telling us not to use tragedies for political purposes? Another obvious lie caught on tape.

Wasn't that supposed to happen today, too? I'm talking about a protest by Katrina survivors in DC.

17. I saw nothing of it *happy*. Did IT "look" like a real march,...
Edited on Sun Sep-11-05 08:10 PM by Just Me
,...or another propaganda thingy? Were there many participants? What did that thing look like? Did the media give it a lot of coverage? Will the media give "the peoples" FOR REAL FREEDOM MARCH the coverage it deserves? The media sure as hell failed to give us the attention we have deserved over the last few years,...and WE ARE REAL MAINSTREAM, LOVING, PATRIOT, COURAGEOUS, FOLKS. The media blew us off as radical just 'cause we decided to take a stand for our people and our country.
