BUSH AT 38%
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9280375/site/newsweek/

In Katrina’s wake, the president’s popularity and job-approval ratings have dropped across the board. Only 38 percent of Americans approve of the way Bush is doing his job overall, a record-low for this president in the NEWSWEEK poll. (Fifty-five percent of Americans disapprove of his overall job performance.) And only 28 percent of Americans say they are “satisfied with the way things are going” in the country, down from 36 percent in August and 46 percent in December, after the president’s re-election. This is another record low and two points below the satisfaction level recorded immediately after the Abu Ghraib prison abuse scandal came to light. Fully two-thirds of Americans are not satisfied with the direction of the country

1. Has any president ever hit 38%? EVER?
It's going to drop lower too. He truly will go down as Worst Pres ever.

5. Nixon...
At 36% the Congressional Republicans, led by the last true conservative, Barry Goldwater, made the march up to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. to urge him to resign.

No such luck with this crowd of buffoons though.

6. See, this is why I DO think it's possible
that with enough pressure on Republicans, we can impeach this fool.

7. impeach
has bush done anything we can prove to get him impeached. going to war isnt a impeachable offense, especially since he never said anything under oath and can claim he was the victim of the same bad data.

has he done or covered up anything criminal? if he has then we can put the pressure on to get him impeached, but if he hasnt i dont think that will pass muster.

peace

11. Like the republicans demonstrated with Clinton ...
an impeachable offense is whatever Congress says it is.

I have no confidence that enough of the corrupt republicans will turn against the rulers that be. The only ones who can impeach Bush are the CEOs that run the country, who are led by Bush Sr. So it won't happen unless we gain control of Congres in '06.

9. My favorite stat from this one
... is the 52% who say they don't trust Bush's judgement in a crisis, domestic or foreign.

That, to my thinking, is a devastating indictment.

10. Junior Isn't Running For Re-Election. The Media WILL Continue To Ignore
election fraud and happily spit out whatever bogus rationale the GOP gives for their winning MORE seats in 06.
