ESPN: NFL Countdown is talking about Rush
Edited on Sun Oct-05-03 10:09 AM by Cush
Tom Jackson says a friend of his son asked "Is it ok for black to play quarterback in the NFL?"

Berman says as the host, he should have said something.

2. They are trashing Rush
Kind of late though. They should be trashing ESPN management for ever hiring the racist AH.

3. Very sad commentary...
Edited on Sun Oct-05-03 10:19 AM by gully
They went on to say that in the NFL there is a brotherhood where color of the skin is a non issue. They said they had such a brotherhood on their show, until Rush Limbaugh came part of the team. They expressed a collective regret for not 'saying more' at the time. But, I imagine they were shocked.

They also said they didn't understand why ESPN hired him in the first place with his 'track record' of inflamatory (racist?) statements.

I could see each one of them was saddened deeply by Rush's supposed innocent comments.

I am angry! And, glad the a$$hole is off of NFL Countdown.

My comments are paraphrased ;)

4. I liked Jackson's commentary
It wasn't sad, what he said was correct. I am glad Rush is gone and Jackson is still here.
