Stand Alone logical Points for TraitorGate and other things.
1. Regardless of the Republican Slime campain vs. Amb. Wilson to tarnesh his reputation by using partisianship/nepotism angles (even if they are true)

-- The report that Amb. Wilson made about the meeting between Iraq and Nigeria never happened regarding the purchase of Yellocake, still stands alone. It also stands alone that this intellegance, known to be wrong or shakey at best, was used in an explicit manner by GW as a impending reason to Invade Iraq.

2. Even if Amb. Wilson's wife is just a typical non-operative CIA agent (which she is not), the motivations behined leaking the name to Novak (and 6 other journalist) can only have 1 purpose.

-- the purpose is to discredit in some way Amb. Wilsons proffessionalism. (If this is true then all conservative/neo-conservative governmental employees ONLY do things politicaly).

I watched Amb. Wilson on MTP this morning and he was pretty straight-forward and didn't really try to back-track, in fact he was even harder on the the Bush adminisstration than I've seen before (unlike Novak). I think Wilson can convince a majority of people of his proffesionalism.
Only the Republican/ NEo-Con faithfull will swallow the slime in utter hapiness to live in their little reality world.

3. Regardless if the LA Times piece on ARnold is dirty last minute politics, even if the Democrats helped (which they did not)

--The fact that Arnold has a past and continuing problem of molesting women, that he even admited to on more than one occasion, is seperate from the fact that he was/is/is not the target of a late slime campain. I.e. The slime campain is not the cause for his Womenizing behavior, which the Republicans are trying to spin it this way by causality.

In all three cases the Republicans explicity use PARTISNSHIP of the accusers/victim as a way to deflect crtisizm away from the problem. This partisianship tactic is a double edged sword and logicaly can be used against them as well, which can come down to arguments about partisianship (lots of emotion) and not the matter/issue at hand (traiorgate, Arnold and the women, etc...) Chris Matthews is a great example of a pundit taking the partisanship bait and running with ti becuase it's easy and tabloid, rather than facing a few facts is that the people you like in office are doing some bad things.
This Partisan trap allows for the Bush and RNC media whores to use Personalities and Tabloidization of REAL news to run with it and deflect the issue, while it can also trap the Bush detractors with emotional appeals (opinion punditry), and making easier to rationalize the use of the dirty RNC/Bush tactics agianst them, putting the left/democrats/progressives/even the few conservatives in an equalized moral and ethical position with the RNC/Bush Administration.

Note: "If we play by their game, they will at least minize the damage to themsleves by bringing others down to their level. If we change the rules by not playing their game, they will be in our court (when I mean court I mean court)."
