Blowing a CIA agent's cover: Robert Baer

Wednesday, October 1, 2 p.m. ET

The Justice Department launched a criminal investigation into who leaked the name of a clandestine CIA officer, and President Bush directed his White House staff on Tuesday to cooperate fully. The CIA agent's husband, former ambassador to Gabon Joseph Wilson, says he believes presidential adviser Karl Rove condoned the disclosure to get even with with Wilson for challenging a presidential claim about Iraq's weapons program. The White House on Monday vehemently denied any top official was a player in the disclosure. How can exposure of identity damage, or destroy, an agent's career? Chat with today's guest, Robert Baer, about this topic.
