How many Du'ers are 60 yrs. or older?
i've been a member for a year or so(not many posts) and it seems like most posters are baby boomers or younger. info i'm 62.

you answered a question I asked in one of my very first posts on DU a long time ago. It was such a great answer, funny and thoughtful. I was hooked on DU from that moment.

Anyway, I'm 61, as long as we're talking about it.

22. There was a poll a couple of days ago.
I can't remember the exact numbers, but 40s and 50s are the most prevalent, and then 60s and 70s came next. This is not a board of "kiddies."

By the way, I am 65.

26. Also, a belated welcome to DU!
From the tone of the discussions I've been involved in, I believe there is remarkable age diversity here, though I think the young'uns tend to be on more during daylight hours (probably because -- as was surely true of me in my youth -- they have more compelling things to do after dark), while we elders tend more to be on late at night. Just an impression though; nothing scientific to back it up.
