On the "looking for" list on MSNBC

list of hurricane victims, last night there were 52 pages of A's alone. I didn't check the other letters of the alphabet, but there must be a humungous amount. I feel ill.

1. I am glad they are doing that

It will mean there is some accountability as to how many people died. They are trying to block the press from covering the recovery, despite the court order CNN got.

Many of those people may just not be able to get in touch with relatives or friends yet. I hope so ~

2. More on the "looking for" lists than the "safe" lists

I've been very frustrated trying to find out if a woman I know is okay. She lived in the flooded zone and I thought I saw her in coverage of the convention center. Her ex husband hasn't heard from her. There is no central list to check--every damn news organization and relief organization seems to have their own list. What a F%#Ked way to try to find the lost. It's almost as if they wanted them to stay lost.

3. I know.. trying to find two children

My friend's husband cannot find his exwife or two children and he is so upset. I have been trying to help her sort through.. and she has posted on so many lists.. its heartbreaking.
