Kudoes to Jeff Greenfield-CNN
He had an exchange with Wolf Blitzer, who said, "What does this
mean for the pressie?"

Jeff countered by, "I don't know what people mean when they say
that."

Wolf burbled again about Bush and he wanted Greenfielf to compliment
Bush's 'presidential acumen/manliness'.

Greenfield said, "We have enough to talk about without MAKING THINGS
UP."

BWAHAHAHAHA! I could kiss him. :)

WOlfie cut it short therein. I think he was a bit embarrassed.

Kudoes, Jeff Greenfield.

1. that was interesting
Greenfield said there is NO correlation between the party of governors and presidential politics. He said he went back a long time to look at this, and there was no relationship, in fact the matters seemed to be opposite -- that the president elected was often of the opposite party to the governership of large states.

And that's why he said there are plenty of indicators that are credible, but this one is just made up.

Wolfie assured him that no one at CNN would try to make anything up. (barf)

2. We need more of this
I actually used to really like Greenfield, but that seems so long ago now.

Wolf is a bushie, like Tweetie. Before Gulf War I, does anyone know anything about Wolfie's past? Where did he come from? I had never heard of him before Gulf War I.

7. Thanks - that bio is telling
For all the things it leaves out. Wolf appeared out of nowhere, ala Rush Limbaugh around the time of the Gulf War I.

I always wondered if he was CIA. And this is interesting from that bio

He began his career in 1972 with the Reuters News Agency in Tel Aviv. Shortly thereafter, he became a Washington, D.C., correspondent for The Jerusalem Post. After more than 15 years of reporting from the nation's capital, Blitzer joined CNN in 1990 as the network's military-affairs correspondent at the Pentagon.

He began his "journalist" career in Israel. In 1990, during Bush I, he was then firmly "embedded" into the Pentagon.

Most bios tell where people are originally from and when they were born, they're family, etc. Its as if he just "popped" up out of nowhere. Do you thing maybe Wolfie is an Israeli citizen?

I always thought the name "Wolf Blitzer" was made up. Now I'm sure of it.

8. I have always heard he's from Buffalo
I'm a native Buffalonian, and my stepsister says she went to high school with Wolf in Kenmore, a Buffalo suburb. Between Wolf and Russert (who's a South Buffalonian, like me), the Buffalo representation looks lousy, doesn't it? Thank goodness for Mark Russell and Tom Toles (I think Toles was a transplant, but he made his name at the Buffalo News, and he and his wife have been honored for their role in reviving the Olmsted parks in Bflo.).

5. I was impressed with Greenfield right after the Arnie
sexual harrassment story broke. Wolfie was trying to spin it and Greenfield said this is serious and needs to be investigated or something like that.

6. Wolf may be on his way out
He acts like he's trying to pretend he didn't have a stroke or something. He asks people questions they just answered 2 minutes before. He's pathetically uninformed, repeating "common knowledge" that has been discredited 2 days ago. He's completely out of touch.

10. That was probably RogueV's shortened nick for him
I don't think Wolf used that word.

Are you arguing about what Greenfield said?
