Wow! Shaquille O'Neal helped put a gay basher in jail
Did anyone hear about this yet? Shaq witnessed a homophobe throw a beer bottle at a gay couple in Miami and followed him with his car and then called the cops on the asshole.

4. It;s getting harder every day to hate the guy...
I used to think he was a rich prick, but lately he has been acting the opposite.

7. Shaq paid for NBA legend Mikan's funeral.
Most of Mikan's money (and his families) went to his medical care.

11. I freakin' love Shaq. He has grown on me so much over the years.
Although different schools, we were freshman in college at the same time and I remember seeing him play. He was amazing.

Now, I'm growing to love the guy. He finished his degree and got deputized.

That one really bad movie aside, seems like a great guy.

13. More good Shaq news from the same source....
MIAMI (AP) -- Sweat dripping from his head as he worked in the midday South Florida sun, Shaquille O'Neal loaded the last item into a cavernous 18-wheel trailer and pointed to the generous stranger.

"Give the man a hug," he urged his children, who quickly obliged. "Tell him thank you."

For the last week, O'Neal and his wife have coordinated efforts to help those in Louisiana and Mississippi whose lives were ripped apart by Hurricane Katrina. And Saturday, O'Neal was on the front line, personally accepting medical items, toiletries, clothes and other items from those inclined to help.
