Important question about Arnold/Enron

If he manages to win the election will he be able to kill the Bustamante lawsuit against Enron? My understanding is that this is a private lawsuit filed under California's "Unfair Business Practices Act".

So far, the media has completely ignored the meeting with Ken Lay, but it would get really hard to cover up the connection if his office actively got involved with squashing the suit.

what the Govinator, if he gets elected, could do is "settle" on behalf of the people of California for pennies on the dollar, the original desire of the energy companies.

This creates a conflict with any civil proceeding as the plaintiffs would have already received compensation.

And the "media" is the source for the meetings: it was reported by Associated Press and the LA Weekly. It was the bigs that didn't run with it.
