Did you see the McLaughlin Group re Schwartznegger?
One of the members of their bevy of conservative pundits (Lawrence Kudlow - Is that his name?) started with the predictable Republican apologies for Arnold's actions. He was trying to dance around the issue and dismiss all of the accusations, just like Arnold did. Kudlow was restating Arnold's comments about "some of da tings dat vill come our are just plain lies" blah blah blah. Just when you thought the BS was going to go unchallenged, Lawrence O'Donnell busted in and started to shout the righty down. O'Donnell kept shouting that Arnold 'cannot deny this', 'he cannot lie his way out of this' and he went on and on, and he kept correcting the record whenever Kudlow tried to distort it. O'Donnell made it clear that just about everybody in Hollywood knows about the Schwartznegger penchant for showing enormous disrespect towards women, and that Arnold hadn't admitted to anything but a small portion of his misdeeds.
It was great to see somebody stand up for the truth so forcefully, as O'Donnell did this weekend.
Kudos to him. :toast:

1. Usually, Eleanor Clift is the forceful one
it's usually 4 on 1 for her. O'Donnel is saying good things, but it wasn't that long ago that O'Donnel was a big-time Repub apologist. It might have been post-911 motivated, but it was distressing.

3. O'Donnell's a "Raving Moderate"
I don't think he's really one way or the other. He'd fit right in at Slate, for example.

2. Guess Arnold Won't Be Hiring O'Donnell... :-)
O'Donnell has dabbled in Hollywood roles. He played Jeb Bartlett's father on The West Wing, for example.

6. I saw O'Donnell on Buchannan & Press and he did the same thing.
He was really getting into it, saying that if Arnold is elected, more and more will come out. He doesn't like Arnold at all. He said "I can find only 12 people in Hollywood who like this guy; the rest hate him."
