DFA and Bryan Kennedy, he who will oust the vile Sensenbrenner, huzzah!
There is voting going on over at DFA to determine who will get endorsement and support from them. Anybody care to vote for Mr. Kennedy? It would be a way for folks from all over to give us a hand in getting rid of the big crybaby.

Here's the message they gave me, with link, over at DFA when I voted. Hey, they told me to forward it around. So I am.

"Hello,

Democracy for America is hosting an online vote to determine which congressional candidate will receive their first national endorsement of 2006. The vote is open to all challengers and open seat candidates. The candidate with the most votes at the end of balloting will receive a DFA-List endorsement and a national e-mail from DFA's Chair Jim Dean.

Vote for Bryan Kennedy here:

The first round of voting closes on Saturday at 5:00 pm Eastern Time. We need to finish in the top 10 to make the final round next week.

Thanks,

Erica

2. I did, but wanted to vote for Justin Sowa from DU too!
I want them both to get all the help they can get. It was nice to vote for Kennedy in 2004. It was the only thing that I can say good about living in Senselessbrenner's district. That, and the town was nice!

4. Problem is Sensenbrenner is in just about the most rightwing district.
That district hasn't voted Democrat in at least forty years.

6. There's a rumor floating around that he might retire
And the Democratic Party of Waukesha County no longer meets in a telephone booth. Bryan got a better percentage of the vote than any Dem in years. The Waukesha County Chair is fired up and says he's sick of uncontested races. The party itself is trying to build a reputation as an activist force in the area. And we're gonna back Bryan like we think he can win. Because...

We got... high hopes

We got... high hopes

We got... high apple pie in the sky hopes.

Oops there goes another rubber tree plant...

8. And I just moved out of District 5 to go to school too.
Just when we might actually be able to get somewhere. However, it still is an uphill battle to even break 40% in that district. We can't run too liberal on economic issues unfortunately, but we could focus on the fascist tendancies of the Republicans since the fifth district is very libertarian. Just assure them that you won't raise taxes and we might have a shot with that approach.

Anything to get rid of that worthless piece of drivel.

He and Hyde were behind the dirty tricks, and the
impeachment of Clinton
We need him out in 2006

12. Have you heard any rumors about him, CW?
About possible retirement? It would be nice if that were true. Then Bryan would be on a more level playing field.

...last cycle seems to have fuelled it even more this time. One can only hope.

15. I'm kicking this because he's in 12th place, just out of the money
as it were.

If you haven't voted for the guy, and you wanna see a proper challenge to Sensenbrenner the crybaby, please consider going and voting for Bryan.

Thanks.
