Isn't Bush Screwed No Matter Which Way He Turns?
His ugly little facist base will go nutso that he's going to spend all that money and resources on rebuilding "sin city" and giving it to all those "n-----s". The true, economic conservatives will lose their lunch over his slinging around MORE money in addition to the little exercise in futility called Iraq with no proposal of how to pay for it. And, the Democrats just plain hate the son-of-a-bitch for his brand of "racial cleansing". And then there's the real problem: all those waiting for the kick off of the new tv season who are going to flip on the tv, get out a cold beer and say "what da' fuck"! Wouldn't it be better for him if he just kinda shut up and faded away??

1. All depends on his real motives
I think Republicans are mroe than happy to have the government bankrupted while giving huge payouts to corporations -- in this case (and the case of Iraq in part), to rebuilding corporations.

4. "I am not a crook!"
How many months btween that statement and Nixon's departure? Not many. Bushitler will "stay the course" tonight and his numbers will drop another 2 points.

3. Don't worry. He's going to launder the money
by making sure that mostly white owned companies get the big contracts and the big bucks before what's left of the money gets into the hands of people of color. Oh, and faith-based organizations of Bush's choice will also get their share. His base will love that too.
