People's eyes are being open, and the Freedom to speak out is still there. It is alive and Katrina helped US be able to expose this group for what they are.

God Bless all the Souls that were lost so FREEDOM COULD LIVE AGAIN!!!!

YOU ARE THE TRUE MODERN PATRIOTS!!!!

LET US NOT LET THEM DIE IN VAIN..

SPEAK OUT!!
WRITE THE MEDIA!!
PROTEST!!
BE AMERICAN'S AGAIN!!!

This is forcing them to give to others in need, maybe they will see the HIGH you get from that!

1. you know, for those here who believe in a God or higher being
that tries to get our attention when we are going astray - Katrina has certainly gotten our attention focused on issues that to some have been "invisible."

(not suggesting that God wanted destruction or death,or planned it)

2. It did open the eyes of many Americans who never thought about...
the poverty that prevails in this country. It showed how the poor are forgotten and left to fend on their own. It showed how the poor survived in spite of the horrendous events and the struggles they go through in everyday life. It showed this country that we must work toward the goal of eliminating the extreme poverty that exists in many pockets of this country and not sweep it under the carpet. There is a way to fight poverty if we all work at it, starting with our federal government.

3. Katrina washed ashore...
the balls that the media has been missing for the past 5 years. Most are still learning to use them again, but they have clearly been reunited.

5. Indeed!
Lately the media is reporting on things the Rove machine would normally keep hidden, and negative stories are popping up faster than Rove can spin them. But he keeps on spinning anyway, and if we don't pounce on this window of opportunity (and there's no telling how brief it might be), they just might regain control of the spin-cycle and sweep all this mess under the proverbial rug again.
