Rice defends Iraq using coffee as a simile on O'Reilly.
..he asks a legit question...she dodges using that tired old excuse...We're better off without Hussein! Really Condi? Could you wear your $3000 shoes there?

RAW STORY

On Bill O'Reilly's 'O'Reilly factor' Wednesday evening, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice defended the U.S. occupation of Iraq in terms of coffee, RAW STORY has learned.

The quip came on the deadliest day of violence in Baghdad since the U.S.-led invasion two years ago, and was caught on tape by ThinkProgress. You can watch the video here.

O'Reilly remarked, "The truth of the matter is our correspondents at Fox News can't go out for a cup of coffee in Baghdad."

Rice replied, "Bill, that’s tough. It's tough. But what — would they wanted to have gone out for a cup of coffee when Saddam Hussein was in power?"

3. If you listen to the clip, after she asks that question, O'Reilly says
"no". So O'Reilly knows for a fact that they could not go get coffee when Saddam Hussein was in power? Maybe we should ask some people who were actually there. Oh wait, that would be real reporting.

4. Exactly, and even if they were female, and unaccompanied
and without wearing a burka, and they could have walked or driven there without worrying about getting their asses blown to bits either or civil war breaking out before they got their change at the counter.

Secretary Rice specialized in Russian studies. She speaks russian "real good". But that's not enough to qualify you to be secretary of state. Neither is having an oil tanker named after you.

I could definitely manage, with pain and sadness, if a child of mine turned out to be a petty thief or lazy or an axe murderer or even (shudder) super religious, but if a child of mine turned out to be like Condi (or anyone in this administration) I would have to publicly disown that brat.

Honey child, your other Dad and I already have plans this holiday, for about the next thirty years. Life is too short.
