Brian Williams just reported about the lights coming on temporarily
for Bush's speech, and then going out again once he was gone. Good for Brian putting that on the Nightly News.

1. They could care less about the people that are still
remaining in NO.
They are living in luxury on a cruise ship.
They have what they need.
Fuck everyone else.

6. On the air? On the network?
That is indeed good news. Will Williams keep it coming, or will this new candor last only for as long as his outrage over what he saw in New Orleans stays fresh in his memory?

You know that outrage and disgust you're feeling right now, Mr. Williams? Some of us have been feeling it for five years now. Glad to see someone in a position to broadcast it feeling that way.

9. Might the lights be coming on in Brian Williams's head?
Or will he revert to his friend-of-Rush self as quickly as the lights were extinguished after Captain Crotchsock's speech?

10. Katrina may have been a wake-up call
for a lot of journalists. High-profile TV journalists and anchors live well. . . I think their eyes have been opened. May they stay that way.

A report on "Charles" is coming up -- if you haven't seen this little boy, grab the Kleenex. If there's been a thread about him, accept my apologies.
