They are taking great pride right now that gas has been dropping to pre Katrina level in some areas of the country. If you want to really upset these fools just tell them that one year ago gas was $1.79 a gallon. So don't piss on my back and tell me it's raining.

1. I remember when President Clinton was in the WH
Edited on Sat Sep-17-05 06:45 AM by ...of J.Temperance
Well actually my Mother told me that gas was 90c and President Clinton wanted to increase it by 5c and HALF the nation AND ALL of the mediawhores went COMPLETELY apeshit...and so he backed down.

Oh but you know, he was getting blow-job's, so the 90c doesn't matter. It's MUCH better to be $4, because you know the Chimp's NOT getting those EVIL blow-job's.

:sarcasm:

3. 'xactly... when Clinton left office, gas was cheap...
90c to 1.10, overall.

Someone tell me how 2.50+ is better?

Oh, yeah, that's right... better if you've got a vested interest in big oil... that's it. :grr:

5. When President Clinton left office EVERYTHING was BETTER
Edited on Sat Sep-17-05 06:55 AM by ...of J.Temperance
Period. Full stop.

Isn't it SHOCKING how QUICKLY EVERYTHING has gone downhill and nightmarish since the Bush bastard forced himself upon a nation that NEVER chose him to lead them?

Heck, I'm going to Dallas this Tuesday and then to Lake Charles, La. and Alexandria, La. the following week...I DREAD to think what the gas prices are going to be like :(

9. Here's what I'm pointing out lately...
In the United Kingdom, gas is about $6.00 a gallon (give or take) and the roads still swarm with automobiles, BUT the tax on gasoline pays for universal health care for every man, woman, and child in the kingdom. In the good ol' USA, we're not that far away from $6.00 a gallon gas prices, and what are we going to get from it? Not a goddam thing, that's what. It makes even foaming at the mouth B*shit supporters stop and think. Because NOBODY believes any longer that we have the best health care system in the world any more, do they?

10. Cons voted for an oil president thinking it would
mean cheap gas prices. You'd think they would lower their heads in shame, instead they beam with pride when gas drops below three dollars a gallon..

11. They're in for a shock when winter comes and oil prices climb accordingly
These prices are temporary and reflect an attempt to make Junior look better in the polls. Not gonna happen.

14. The Actual Conversation Should Be
"You have a greater chance of becoming a welfare recipient than a CEO of a Fortune 500 company."

That is going to be my line to any RW idiots who try to talk to me in the future. These people really believe they can make it rich but never expect themselves to be in need. Boy do I have a bridge to sell them.
