Has Bush done anything good while in office?
I was just thinking that in a nut shell his entire administration has been basically a complete disaster! I can't think of one good accomplishment.

Can you?

3. He keeps going on vacation...
The less time he spends fucking up the country, the better...

So I guess vacation is a conditional good.

8. I don't know about that one ...
every time he goes on vacation something really, really bad happens soon after. He hasn't run over Barney with his bicycle yet. That's good. Other than that, I've got nothing.

5. Good question
That's what I keep asking my bushy "friends". Name one good thing he's done while in office. All they can say is tax cuts. Then, I laugh!!

10. yes, but.........
.......the tax cuts only benefitted a small percentage of the country!
So you could hardly call that something positive for the country when that money could have been better spent somewhere else! Like providing protection and financial benefits for the soldiers fighting the war or any one of a number of things.

13. You're right
That's when I ask them just how much of "tax cut" they got (since they're not part of the top 2 percent). Funny, they never really have an answer. Then I remind them how nice it is that our "oil man" pres has made sure we're all getting a great deal at the pumps!

15. Driving the Taliban and al Qaeda out of power in Afghanistan.
That was good. Letting OBL escape into Pakistan was incredibly bad. Taking all the troops and equipment and money for restoration and rebuilding and using them to invade Iraq was also very, very bad.

22. I supported that too, but he botched that
I don't think any other President could have botched it that badly - even Bush Sr.

Also, if they hadn't been ignoring the problem, the whole sorry mess could have been avoided.

16. W acknowledges racial inequality and poverty in U.S.
Seriously, he's been the first republican to acknowledge these exist in the U.S. since Nixon.

Many right wingers felt these words were like nails screeching on a chalkboard. They also know that once said, W can't take back these words. He, and the GOP can now be judged on their actions in these areas.

18. I can take a deep breath and list these...
National "Do Not Call" Registry

his Justice Dept. has prosecuted several "big name" CEOs like that scumbag from Tyco

The reduction in the estate tax for small family farms (although I think the estate tax is fine for the super rich). The Cheneys can afford to pay it, but Bob and Jane who've been farming for 60 years can't.

Of course, I'd gladly trade these three minor accomplishments for the hundreds of thousands of lives this maniac has taken.

23. Yes!
Because of George W. Bush, I know more world leaders than I have ever known in my 50 years. I know more about world politics and economic politics.

He has reaffirmed my commitment to being politically active and aware of what is being done in my name. I now know why most of the world hates America.

25. Same here
When I was called Unpatriotic for being against the War, thats when I scratched my head, said "What the Fuck" and began to get involved. Being called un american was just enough to get my ass in gear to get involved. I guess I can thank Bush for that as well.
