Terry Fox pre-maturely ended his run across Canada to raise money for Cancer research. He is was one of the most amazing people, running a marathon a day on one leg for his cause.
He used to practice run up and down my street, my mom always wondered who he was and what he was doing. Naturally she found out later... just bringing the day to your attention.  |
