Daylight savings time? Is that tonight?
O.k., call me stupid, but are we turning our clocks back 1 hour tonight? I couldnt find one story on it. If so, thank gawd I looked down at my PC clock.

4. Nope - it's been the last Saturday in October for a long time, but I think
with the new "energy bill" they may be moving it back into early Nov. Not sure when this takes effect though.

7. It takes effect in 2007.
DST will begin mid-March instead of beginning of April and will extend into beginning of November:

6. 1st Sunday in April; last Sunday in October; Spring forward; Fall back.

I use "Dimension 4" to keep my PC clock synchronized with the U.S. Naval Observatory's time server (using SNTP) at tick.usno.navy.mil. It keeps my PC within 1-2 seconds of standard time, and automatically adjusts for DST.
