"What Are You? A Republican Or Something?"
Edited on Tue Sep-20-05 09:50 PM by Beetwasher
I use this as an insult to people all the time, anytime they do something greedy, selfish, mean, nasty etc. It should become part of the national lexicon. I know, I live in NY, it's different and (most) people (that I know) actually take it as insult, but the time might be ripe to really take it nationwide! Try it out!

2. I do that all the time!
Maybe we can make it like they've made "liberal."

I also say stuff like "I'm a Christian, so I'm a liberal, of course." if someone asks a religion/politics question.

3. Yup, I use it
If there is anyone who is an asshole, it is the first thing that has come to my mind. I say 'must be a fucking republican.'

I heard that on tv recently, I can't say where , but it stuck. I am in Log Cabin country, P. Springs, plenty of opportunity to "out" pukes and shun them

5. My kids do that all the time. It never fails to crack me up.
Okay, I laugh easily. ;) but, yes, it is effective. I've seen it work, myself. On repubs, no less.

6. My 8 1/2 year old son says something similar.
Let's say we are driving, and someone cuts us off. Or let's say someone does something mean. Or let's say someone is a dimwit. My son will say "S/he must be a Republican."

We've taught him well.

Lest we be accused of brainwashing, let me say we don't say things overtly like that to our son. We do explain issues. He draws his own conclusions, then he takes it to the next step.

12. Boot To The Head!!!
Edited on Wed Sep-21-05 08:35 AM by KharmaTrain
Heard the Frantics the other night and if this song was ever needed to be heard, now is the time! Maybe it could be an unofficial DU fight song...LOL

I don't mince words with anyone who dares to say they support this regime or anything positive about booooosh. I call them immoral. If they voted knowing the war in Iraq was based on lies, support the regressive policies and lies of this regime and brag about it, they deserve to get cut down to size.

Yi yi yai yi....

People talking in movie shows,
People smoking in bed!
People voting Republican,
Give them a boot to the head!

Boot to the Head! Yah, yah...
Boot to the Head! Yah, yah...
Boot to the Head! Yah, yah...
Boot to the Head! Yah yah yah.. yah. yah yah yah...

Mechanics who can't fix a car,
Politicians who can't think! The salesman who won't leave me alone,
The waiter who forgot my drink!

(Refrain)
Boot to the head! Yah, yah..
Boot to the head! Yah, yah..
Boot to the head! Yah, yah..
BOOT TO THE HEAD!!
