Read all three Newsweekly issues....

This week all of the three newsweeklies have excellent articles that DU'ers should be interested in.

US News has a diary type article about Hurricane Katrina.

Then Time has two pieces on Iraq and Afghanistan. Joe Klein (and for Du'ers who don't like Joe Klein - if someone writes a good piece with important information, just don't discount it because of author bias)writes a piece about how Bush appointees blew Iraq from the start. The scary article is how Iraqi insurgents are now giving advice to Afghan fighters. The Iraqis are passing on their experiences to Afghan.

Then in Newsweek there is an essay by F. Zakari that is worth reading.
