1. Bill was on Tucker's show last night
Basically handed Tucker's ass (wrapped in a bow tie) to him in what seemed to me to be a suspiciously shortened segment.

2. Bill was on Carlson's show last night.
Unfortunately, I missed it. From what I heard, though, it was pretty entertaining.

5. Well, it would be in Fucker's best interest to...
start a "feud" with a popular television host. It could only help his stalled career.

6. Nah
Bill very easily showed what a political lightweight the kid was. It was more of a mop usage demonstration than an actual political discussion.

As far as feud; think small "drop-kick" sized dog nipping at a Great Dane...that's what a "feud" would look like to most people.

7. The video of the Carlson & Maher exchange is on the MSNBC
web site. A little over half way down. Carlson is just giving MSNBC fodder to move the show to the 3 AM time slot or cancel it altogether.

12. It doesn't matter that Fucker is a political lightweight to...
the Kool-aid drinkers. They just keep sucking it down. They revel in the battle...so if Fucker has a liberal talk show host feud that is enough for them to support him.

9. From Last Night's Daily Show
From Tuesday night's Daily Show:

"Jon: Well, at the very least, is the government better prepared to deal with Rita then perhaps we were with Katrina?

Rob: Absolutely Jon. Whatever they're shortcomings in the past; the federal government has learned the lesson of Katrina, star blaming state and local officials now. I've already been assured by FEMA that the mayor and governor will have failed. And this time the president will not be detached. There are already plans to have him helicoptered in to save a baby trapped in raging floodwaters.

Jon: That seems to be taking a bit of a chance, no?

Rob: Nah, they've got 5 babies spread out around the area. Jon, they're confident Bush will get one.

Jon: who would give their baby to be used in that type of fashion?

Rob: You'd be surprised Jon, the GOP has a classification for that level of donor... They're people who have donated $250,000 and of course a baby."

10. Carlson wanted to shift blame from Bush to Clinton for Katrina
Carlson called Clinton arrogant for condemning Bush's incompetence and Maher explained the facts of live to Bow Tie. Clinton never would have been on vacation while a city was destroyed and he would have been taking care of things every step of the way.

13. Here is a transcript.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9425242/

MAHER: Don't you feel a little silly? Bill Clinton looks worse?

CARLSON: You have got to be kidding.

MAHER: Give me a break.

CARLSON: Clinton comes out the other day—Clinton comes out the other day and says, A, you shouldn't have gone into Iraq. Wait a second, he was for Iraq. He and his wife both supported the war. Now they're second guessing it and pretending...

MAHER: They didn't support the war. Excuse me.

CARLSON: Yes.

MAHER: They supported—they supported a resolution that said as a last resort, we are going to give you, Sheriff George Bush, a badge and a gun. That's not saying we want you to go in there blasting at the first sign of trouble.

But we're just talking about the hurricane. You can't really deny that under Clinton, FEMA was in a much better situation, that he didn't appoint somebody's college roommate, and this is after 9/11, to head up the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

I understand that all politicians appoint their cronies to certain positions, but this isn't the ambassadorship to San Marino or Liechtenstein. It's the Federal Emergency Management Agency. You don't think that's a smoking gun for George Bush's administration?

15. And a bit more...
Bowtie Boy: Almost on an aesthetic level, aren't you repulsed by Clinton's never-ending self-righteousness? (snip) Doesn't the constant bragging and the self-aggrandizing make you wanna throw up?

Maher: You know what makes me wanna throw up? Seeing dead bodies floating in New Orleans - that's makes me wanna throw up.

Bowtie Boy: Yeah.

Maher: That kinda stuff -- that would not have happened under Bill Clinton. You can't tell me that you think that FEMA would have...would not have been in a completely different agency and that Clinton would have been all over this situation from minute one like white on rice. You don't think that's who Bill Clinton is? He would not have slept from the moment this hurricane started to hit, until we could do the best we could with the situation. You're...You're angry at his self-righteousness, at a time when there are hundreds and hundreds of dead bodies that are on the tab of George Bush? Why don't you focus your anger on the guy that really deserves it?"
