If there are no plans for Cindy Sheehan to make a keynote/opening speech for the coming demonstration, there should be. The major networks probably need to know in advance if there is going to be a major speech so they can position their people and camera equipment.

Is somebody minding the media on this one?

Sorry to bring up something so obvious. I would just hate to see only a few minutes of crowd coverage and a soundbite from Ms. Sheehan on the news. This event can give her a platform to speak loudly and clearly in prime time. Crowd size is great, but it would mean a lot more with a spokesman giving the message in plain words to the American people.

haven't heard anything about a keynote speech, but it would be a good idea. Hopefully, she will give a great speech at the concert if not at the march opening.
