"So-Called Katrina Tax Hikes"- Tom DeLay-did ANY Dem
say that they wanted to pay for Katrina with a tax hike? I have only heard this in two ways
-Bush said no tax hikes in his Magic Mountain Dizzyland speech last week.
-Dems have been calling for a rescind of Bush's tax cuts to assist in paying for Katrina. That's not a tax hike.

1. It is if you are Tom Delay
anything that does not mean taxes are going asway is a tax hike... this is part of the how they frame the issues

Of course I would respond with we are a nation that requires shared sacrifice and aparently the very waelthy are not willing to pay to live in this country.

(Yes in case you wonder I just framed them as unpatriotic, which they are, many of them are)
